Motion M1200

Motion Computing's entry into the Tablet PC field got a lot of attention at the Launch. The pure slate design along with its sleekly-designed docking station, well-balanced feel and futuristic-looking speakers drew admiring glances and lots of questions.  The Motion M1200 Tablet PC was one of only two models offering a 12.1" screen.

Along with more screen available for workspace, its lightweight design and efficient processor makes it an excellent choice for both workers who are always on the go as well as consumers who want top quality in their Tablet PC.

Since its launch, the Motion M1200 has been garnering awards from throughout the industry.

Motion Pure Tablet PC Designed to work the way you do!

The Motion is an ultra-mobile Tablet PC designed to work the way you do! Input, search, edit, highlight or find/replace in your current applications using a keyboard OR the pen. Take notes in meetings, enter client information or send an email. Your emails can even be sent in your own handwriting. With the built-in wireless feature, you can search the web, check for updates or sales information in your company database anywhere, anytime. Invite others into a private ad hoc network to discuss and edit a customized presentation online minutes before meeting with a client.

Your options are now endless. With all this functionality at less than 3 lbs. and sporting a rugged magnesium structure, you will want to take the Motion M1200 with you everywhere!

Introducing the first Pure Tablet PC
It's time for a revolution in the way people use computers. And Motion Computing is ready. A new company with deep technology roots, Motion Computing ’s sole mission is to improve the computing experience for mobile users. Our Pure Tablet PCs are designed to work the way you do — providing the industry’s best integration of ultra-mobile computing and Windows XP functionality.

Working the way you want
The M1200 Tablet PC from Motion Computing is an extension of your mind and your methods. It is designed from the ground up to adapt to your work style —not the other way around — for utmost ease of use. With one hand, you can dock or undock the Pure Tablet PC. Select different viewing modes, landscape or portrait.

And Motion makes a full line of accessories that are made for the way you work, including slim portfolio cases and desktop stands for ad hoc presentations.

Now, you can use your computer in the way that works best for you. The Motion M1200 Tablet PC enables you to create files and store information by simply writing directly on the screen with your Motion pen, typing with a keyboard or speaking into the microphone. You can use the Pure Tablet PC just as you would use a pad of paper and a pen —creating a completely natural writing experience. And the Motion pen also works like a mouse.

Enjoying Pure Tablet accessibility.
Motion's lightweight, ergonomic Pure Tablet design delivers maximum ease of use — in a PC the size of a spiral-bound pad of paper. Its spacious 12.1-inch screen is 35 percent larger than the 10.4-inch screen others offer. And its less than 1-inch thick dimensions make it comfortable to hold and use. Perfectly balanced, there is no unwieldy clamshell design —or hinges to wear out.

Business today occurs far beyond the walls of the typical office. The workforce is increasingly mobile. And these employees require tools that can adapt to the rapidly changing digital workplace.

While notebook computers and handheld devices are more popular than ever, they only offer a stepping-stone to mobile computing. Handhelds are not powerful enough to be true, multi-function computers, and traditional "clamshell" notebooks are not practical for any mobile users —since the devices cannot be used while walking or standing, and often weigh more than four pounds. As a result, mobile users have been forced to rely on an awkward combination of desktop PCs, notebooks, handhelds and pen devices to complete their work. There ’s been no single, powerful tool for being as productive as possible when away from one ’s desk.

Until now. Enter the Tablet PC. This new type of computer puts the full features of Microsoft® Windows® XP Tablet PC Edition in a portable device, along with pen and speech capabilities. So employees can bring the power of the PC into more places than ever.
